Whatever you are willing to put up with, is exactly what you will have.

PAYPAL, sucks and I will never use them again. I recommend you do the same.

I’ve not hollow pointed any of my 30 caliber molds but yours looks like it might be the ultimate 30/30 bullet.
I had that mold in solid form for a while and it was very accurate out of my 30/30s when sized .310 and driven by a pinch of Trailboss. Shot well with BLC2 as well.

I quit messing with hollowpoint .30 molds long ago. Nowadays when I feel the need for a hollowpoint hunting bullet I select a handful and chuck them in my Unimat lathe and with the aid of a dial indicator bore holes to a precise depth. Extremely consistent weight-wise. Do they work better on deer than a soft bullet with a wide meplat at substantial velocity? Dunno, it may be all in my head. I do know there seems to be no accuracy difference, and if there were an accuracy advantage to hollowpointing I would chase it more.
I do like the idea of it though when stuffing a handful of .30-40's loaded with hollowpointed 311284 220 grainers into a Krag rifle magazine as the sun's coming up on a frosty December morning. Would they work better than a comparable bullet with a wide flat point? Again, dunno, but the psychological push may be a confidence builder and hence an advantage.

Mighty purty bullets ya got there! 😉 😁 They should work well on smallish big game…..if they don’t “come from untogether”! 😉 memtb

I fiddled with hollow pointing for a couple years in the .32-40. My limited experience on 140ish pound deer took me right back to flat points. I'm not saying hollow points plug up with hair and fat, because I don't really know...but I had a couple 'shoot throughs" with the HP's whereas the flat points did the job, expanding to about .50 cal. Defies logic, I know. I used 12 Bhn WW+tin at about 1450 fps, and deer were closer than 100 yds. and I always shot ribs or neck. Lots of guys shoot the shoulder on purpose, but I never tried that, trying to save meat.
