Have my original Pure Prairie League vinyl with his long haired pic the back , great album. Saw PPL live; back in the day. Went to see him last year; great show and seems like a genuinely nice guy.
The acoustic solo he did at George Jones funeral during "Go Rest High On The Mountain" when he was too broken up to sing is utterly amazing. And Patty Loveless did a great job trying to help him through it.
