I did the ".25 cent Glock trigger job" last week, and added a 4.5 lb striker spring. It made a big difference. Still not a quality 1911 trigger, but way better than factory.

Have not bought one. But I have tried one in a G17Gen5 MOS. I do not care for a flat faced trigger since owning a S&W M&P2.0 .45ACP with an Apex, but the GPT did not feel altogether bad and was lighter and had a good break. I have been working with my G45/RMR and its stock trigger and have developed a feel for the break and reset rhythm so I'm pretty sure I will not "upgrade" it.

Every time I modify a Glock trigger I end up switching it back stock. Even if you get the best aftermarket trigger money can buy, there's no mistaking it's still a Glock trigger. I just learned to embrace a Glock trigger for what it is and learn it.

It may end up OEM in some Gen 6 guns. Now it is an add on option.

Brother Flave, I just shot the 19X again, really concentrated and slow rolled about 20 rounds into a grapefruit sized group at 8-10 yards. That is good for me.
I then shot my HK VP9 which has very different feeling trigger and was thinking to myself, damn I like that Glock!

The one that made the biggest difference was a Pyramid trigger from the glock store. In all honesty it wasn't much of an upgrade even though it was lighter than stock. IMO, Glock's weren't designed to have clean and crisp triggers and I have yet to find an aftermarket trigger that achieves it. IMO, the Glock benefits more from technique than parts.

Of all the Glocks I have, the Gen 2? Model 21 is by far the best. The old Tupperware box says 4.5 lbs. I always lubed it with Trigger Job.

That's my conclusion too. Never tried the Pyramid, but I've tried the ZEV trigger & it really wasn't any better than what I get with a good connector like a Double Diamond or the ZEV V-4 with a competition (actually heavier) trigger spring & everything else polished & lubed. I also change any grooved triggers to the stock smooth Glock trigger. My son bought one of ZEV's custom Glock pistols & the trigger in than is definitely no better than any of mine are, & I think it's actually worse. And that's a $1,700 gun. Glock & all other striker fired pistols that I've shot work best by taking up the slack to the wall, then pulling straight through. Attempting to "slowly squeeze off" a shot results in feeling all the mush that IS the Glock trigger, & ride the reset on followup shots. JMHO, YMMV MM

Said I was slow rolling and by that meant just taking my time and shooting slowly. As in squeeze the trigger until you hit the wall, concentrate and squeeze one off.

I wasn't referring to you................but people who try to slow pull a striker pistol as if it was a single action trigger (like a 1911 or a revolver) & expect it to have the same feel are the ones most disappointed in a striker trigger. Of any kind. Pull it however it makes you happy, I guess, but you can't make a purse out of a sow's ear. MM

I've never gotten a Glock trigger as "nice" as my 5" M&P Apex trigger, but I also shoot my Glocks just as well.
They're a tool, not a BBQ gun.

I have 5 different Gen5 models. And the improvements made to that stock OEM trigger are clearly noticeable to me. I have also fired the GPT. More than a few magazines through a G17G5MOS. I think that trigger is best served in a competition gun. For the drills I shoot, and the folks I train with the GPT is not our choice for CCW. That's my experience as an RSO, observing a few different LE departments currently using the Gen5 platform pistols.
