Muffin: Wowsers!
That is a beauty. And that is some dandy wood for a 10/22 - even an early one!
They don't make'em like they used to.
Good for you.

thanks guys, it is a dandy.... 1968 vintage...

looks like it never had a scope on it, and the stock is near 'dingless'.....

for a while there I only had the 1 'obligatory' 22LR..

Now I have FOUR 10-22s

It's a disease.....

That is outstanding. Congrats. That one would have to be very unreasonably priced for me to pass on. Wish it was mine.

Magnum Bob: I own 7 Ruger 10/22's and feel naked, the need for more and under-gunned!
The answer to your query is NO.
Long live the Ruger 10/22.

Not if you're a looney, but the practical people of the World would likely disagree.

I currently have 19 10/22, all different in some way, but a lot of redundancy never the less.

Fella only needs 10 22’s.

I only have 5.

Sweet finger groove stock 10-22. That's an old one and very nice!!! MagnumBob asked if you could have too many 10-22's. Not if you are a loony!! However, I only have 1. After getting the A17, the 10-22 collection dwindled. I hang on to 1 10-22 because it's probably the most consistently accurate one I've seen. Thanks for sharing!!

My biggest regret when our government banned semi auto's was the loss of my 1970 10/22 deluxe beautiful grained walnut and was an extremely accurate rifle.

That is a great find I envy you
