Look at the bright side. When you build that new swimming pool, you won't have to pay a lot of money to fill it up.

Brothers, I have visited there, I feel it with you!! We had a cloudburst 2 days ago here. WE have spent a sm. fortune keeping water out of our basement, & before you know it, it'll be so dry grass won't grow !!!

FN- you sound like a guy a friend told me about years ago.

A bunch of old farts were sitting around in the Hope Cafe arguing about whether the winter was colder or warmer than average.

One fellow over in the corner listened for awhile, then stated, " I've been here for 35 years, and I can tell you boys, this is the first average winter we have ever had".

I wish you could send some of that rain our way in central Iowa. We are struggling here. About 6 inches for the whole spring/summer. I admit, it's better than last year.

kwg

Almost 50% above normal for the year and our rainy season is still two weeks away. Last summer it started raining about this time, and we had over 50 straight days of it!

Yep.

Feels like it never stopped; just a physical change for 6 months.

Liquid to solid, back to liquid again...on the bright side, we should be back to solid again in a couple months. smile

We were in the sound last week and my wife glanced at the temperature gauge. “Look, it’s the middle of July, and we are only 15° above freezing”.

🥶

The upside was, the bugs were some of the most horrific I have ever encountered.
