Once again, That headline kinda misrepresents what's actually stated in the original article, published in The Hill Magazine. Read the original article, only Murkowski actually mentioned switching parties, and she "won" in Alaska last go 'round without the GOP nomination anyway.
The other GOP senators mentioned did have quotes in the article, and it showed that they are RINO scum, but none of them mentioned switching parties.

Anyone that says her party is “too radical” because a big portion of its base believes an election may have been stolen while thinking the solution is to switch to a party that thinks cutting the junk off of an eight year old is okay, is too stupid to even take seriously.
She has got to be the biggest intellectual lightweight in DC and that is saying a whole lot.

We always knew these RINOs were just Democrats in disguise, but now they are so disgusted with their Republican constituents demanding America First, they are talking about giving them the finger and switching over to the Democrat Party./ It’s not necessary disgust with America first. Murkowski won by Rank Choice trickery. It was a democrat scheme to steal the election and it worked. It really doesn't matter because the rest of them have always supported the democrat party as much or more than the republican party. There truly is no distinction between parties in Washington anymore.

Anyone that flips affiliation in a term.
Should have their term terminated the very same day.
Governor of said state appoints person of elected party affiliation for rest of term till next state election.
Governor has no option to select replacement other than what party the voters of said state elected.
The one problem with this is a D governor will be selecting from a pool of people who just conveniently switched from D to R because the turncoat told certain people what they were going to do before making it public. Thats how you end up with just another Rino.
Either the turncoats previous party gets to appoint or hold a special election.
