Very good condition Savage Model 24v series D in 30-30 and 20ga. 1.5 power Weaver scope included- the rifle is super accurate with it (sample 100 yd. target available). No rust or corrosion, excellent bores, very low round count. Not perfect but blue in very good condition.
These Savage Model 24v combination guns are really unique. Originally designed as a “survival gun” for military pilots, they have IMO now been improved by a variety of better chamberings. This one in the 30-30 Win. + 20 gauge combination (selector on the hammer), perhaps the best “one gun” for gathering food in the woods. You could put a lot of venison and birds in the refrigerator with this one! Full disclosure- only flaw is one very small repaired and stable crack behind the right receiver. Whether hanging on the wall or properly stashed behind the cabin, this design will last and be useful for decades!
