Anybody have experience with weaver base mounted peeps on bolt guns? Looking at the NECG offering and the XS Tall. Leaning towards the XS for the aperture ring. The NECG looks like it would really obstruct your peripheral vision. The XS comes in a tall and short, assume the short is for lever guns, tall for bolt action.

My main question is once zeroed and removed, are they pretty good about returning to zero once reinstalled?
