I’ve seen them at Bruno’s in Phoenix recently. They just changed to a new website but it shows a few calibers in stock.

I looked at a few of mine and I didn’t see any words. Funny thing, I looked at some of mine and they say, "Get the vax...or else." Thought that was odd.

When I worked up a load with the 165's out of my .30-06 and they shot fantastic I then went and bought up all I could find.
I haven't come across any in a while now...

I bought a couple of boxes of 30 cal 165 grain a couple months ago. I run them in my 7.82 Patriot, and they are pretty effective.

I suspect Hornady will discontinue the Interbond. On one of their podcasts, I don’t recall specifically, but a Hornady rep said that the Interbond filled a niche that doesn’t really exist. He didn’t elaborate or continue on about the Interbond. I think it has a history of acccurwcy problems and doesn’t sell well, so they’re writing it off as an unwarranted item. It doesn’t fit into their classic interlock line or the new LR trend of the ELD-X and ELD-M. They were real quick to move past the Interbond.
History repeats itself because it worked. If it didn’t work in the first place, it wouldn’t be history but another lost story of insignificance.

For Hornady to make the claim that the InterBond filled a niche that doesn't exist is like making the same claim about every bonded bullet. . ... . That is to say the Nosler Accubond, Norma Oryx, Norma Bondstrike, Swift Scirocco, Speer Impact ..... all have no niche ..... which is total BS. I think the accuracy reputation did it in and Mr Hornady did not want to spend the money on the manufacturing shortfalls causing the accuracy problem.

... but a Hornady rep said that the Interbond filled a niche that doesn’t really exist. ... Yea, those bonded bullets are just a flash in the pan... Just like when I asked the Hornady rep why the Interlock is offered in their Dangerous Game Series ammo with a Cape Buffalo pictured on the box. His response was "the Interlock is a proven performer". Yea...

I never could get the 150gr 7mm Interbonds to shoot. Not a fan I fought with that 154 a bunch. They were decent but never great. The 150's for the 270 were a complete nightmare in a few rifles. I swear they must look like a loose tire flying through the air.

Interbonds worked fine much like accubonds if you actually hit something with them. Accuracy was hit and miss with more misses, they gained that reputation as soon as they were introduced, very few people ever made repeat purchases.

Okay, so the XTP is known as a hunting bullet, but really Hornady, in a 9mm?
