Nugs, pard. Keep your strength up , pard.

Also pard, ya gotta hydrate in that heat! Northern pard’s are not accustomed to the heat.

Or, just go to your fridge, get out some baloney, and turn your thermostat down.

We know the pard ain’t outta the valley, pard.

Sorry 79, just saw this. Slaters on Madison Street is pretty good. Dianna’s Deli at 2853 E. Harbor Rd is good too. Jolly Roger is the bomb for fresh Walleye dinners.

Eat lots and lots of carrots... help your eyes before the Match.

Oops... I forgot you ain't got thumbs.

Nevermind about the carrots.

Walmart deli chicken has been the most reliable in my recent travels. Add a honey crisp from produce and run through the self checkout.

Feeling ambitious? Grab some deli meat and make your own wrap or sandwich.

Gas station chicken is a close second.

"Fast food" and most restaurants suck. Bad.

Little place outside of town called Manny's. Get their ribeye wrap, it's grilled ribeye with bacon, cheese, and a bunch of other stuff, it will leave a lasting impression:

Or go east to Huron for the Sand Bar, good fish fry, walleye, etc.

There’s reason why the line is long, and that line moves fast,

Perch basket, get your ass back there.

PS, take note how the fish is breaded, works well for people with no thumbs.

There used to be a place that Obama visited once (I know, I know.......I fugging know) that had the best peach pie if you could get to it before anyone else did. Open face roast beef sandwiches with home fries was another one of their best menu items. I don't remember what it was called but somewhere in the name was "Country Kitchen" I believe. Frog legs and prime rib were excellent as well. About 10 minutes from Perry.

ETA: There is (or used to be) a dude that had a BBQ smoker cart that hung out on the road side of Vialey that made an absolute bangin half chicken for like $7.

Second vote for Mannys, and Wild Wings. If you want perch or walleye go to Tacklebox II in Fremont. Stay away from the tourists at Jolly Roger. Try also Bay Bell in Bayview. Aquarius in Port Clinton. Slaters is good. Silvertop or Lagoon Saloon for wings and beer.

Driving thru last year we stop overnight in Fremont and ate at "The Garrison". Wife and I thought the food was great. It is a locals type bar and grille downtown

When we travel we always try to sample local fare and the reviews were good on this restaurant and the hotel people recommended it.

Mendoza's in downtown Port Clinton is a good little Mexican place and one of my favorites.

McCarthy's Pub is pretty good and seems to be a favorite with most shooters.

Bell Mell Pizza is good too.

1812 is all right.

I don't like fried fish, so I don't do the Jolly Roger.

I like Ala Carte Cafe for breakfast when I'm not shooting, otherwise they have the on-base cafeteria open, but I prefer that going to that food truck in front of Young range next to AMU, etc that the lady runs. Twisted Sister's!

Oh! and the Que BBQ & Brew down by E Harbor & Catawba Rd is good. There's Toft's ice cream across the street & a little Chinese place.

Give me time, I'll probably come up with more.

If you head out towards Miller's Ferry, there a soft serve place I really like. They have decent smoked BBQ too. There's a couple other restaurants out within a few blocks that are good.

There's this water front place facing Sandusky Bay that's good too. You can see Cedar Point from the courtyard.

ETA: I like Doc's Beach House too, but it's crowded most of the time.

The place Obama visited is probably “cozy corner” in oak harbor, I think.
Mendozas is good, but very limited hours.
A la Carte cafe is a great busy breakfast spot.
McCarthy’s is good food, and they just opened a German place right next door, Wolfies.
The soft serve place on Marblehead is Nettys, great chili dogs too.
Aquarius is across the road from docs beach house, better food, better prices, less people, and similar scenery.
