My orange pocket hunter is 6.75" overall, did he make shorter models?

Elephant toe? ( or something similar). Was it called the Hippo? No scales, maybe 3" total length? My son has my old one now.

I don't know about Ingram, but I happened to see a "How It's Made" segment on hand-made Laguoile knives from France. Beautiful; Damascus blade, bone handles. So I looked them up.
They start at 500 Euros. There's a gorgeous one with handles of Mammoth tooth for only 900.
Pass.

Gene also made a knife called the H225 which had a 2.25" blade. It was a very short compact knife that I liked because its proportions were balanced and not weird looking like some stubby blade/handle combinations end up looking.

Has he passed or is he just retired? I spoke with him about two years ago after he had a bad fall. He put me in me the books but said he couldn’t make any promises that he’d be able to complete it based on his health.
