This is nothing new. After I retired from the Air Force I worked for lowes for 13 years. We were told not to ever physically stop a shop lifter. Lowes does not prosecute shop lifters nor will they prosecute anybody that assaults an employee. We had a Department Manager get fired for calling the police on a thief. If you call the cops without manager permission that will also get you fired. As stated above the only reason that woman got her job back was because of public outcry.
Lowes went woke long before many of the other corporations
Maybe I should just go to Lowe's and start loading up my pockets, and packin' stuff right out. You think I'd get away with it?
