Nope; all correct same/same. Only thing I’d add is the ks safari. A 700 ks could technically also be a safari; but a ks mountain rifle is a what most usually refer to as a ks.

I am bored today so piddling around looking at some hunting rifles. Some of my favorite rifles I own are those of the Remington Custom Shop….namely the KS rifles. They are quite the rifle and in my opinion very understated. Those that know them, love them. I’m one of those that love them. Who owns and loves the Remington KS mountain rifles? Rifles 350RM, 7-08, 223, 35 Whelen, .280 https://imgur.com/a/0qzCM91Would you tell me the difference between a Remington 700 KS and a Remington KS Mountain Rifle? Reason I asked is that for years I've heard them called Remington 700 KS Mountain Rifles but have never seen a Rem 700 KS Mountain rifle. I own two Remington 700 KS Rifles and five Remington 700 Mountain Rifles but have yet to see a Remington 700 KS Mountain Rifle. Thanks for helping me clear this up.

That is what I had hoped to see.. Went out to check my 30-06 KS box and it is identical! Thanks for getting me back in line!

Not sure if this helps - you can sort of see the contours?? Anyway, top rifle is a Gander Mtn Guide rifle in /243, middle rifle is a 1st Gen Ti 7mm-08, bottom is a KS .280. You can sort of see that they are pretty similar. I love those rifles! All perfect! If you ever decide to foolishly part with that 243, I’d like a shot at it👍🏼 Nick, during moments of stupidity on my part I actually sold the top 2 rifles You're not the only idiot Frank. Last time I had track, the top rifle still resides in Texas. I've tried numerous times to buy it back, but to no avail.

All that's left to do now is to start squeezing the trigger!

I’ll try to find a picture. I ordered a KS .338 Win. Mag in 1987, which I believe was the first year production. It was my only big game rifle until 1999. Been sitting in the safe as a spare to my Rifles, Inc. Strata .338 since then. Check it every few years to make sure it’s still sighted in.

Remington 700 Custom KS, that started life as a 375 H&H. Original owner had it re-barreled to 300 H&H, then accurized by Hill Country Rifles. Rattle Can finish by Moi'. ya! GWB Great job on the paint/webbing!!!
