How many here are going to the best vintage show in existence? I will be bringing some vg pre 64 Model 70's for rehoming or trade material. 51' 375 H&H, 48' LH Supergrade in 270, 52 Supergrade in 270, 48' clover tang 257. I am looking for that affordable 250 Sav pre war. Still want to see all the sweet model 70's, especially the pre wars. See you there. Mike

Sorry so slow, had a busy day. Show is Kansas City this weekend. Better than Tulsa in my opinion, not all the modern crap. Literal tons of Winchester rifles. Don’t miss this show if you can make it. Mike

Most people are selling but some are just displaying their collections.
A number of years ago there was a collection of high-grade Parkers. I believe that he had the highest grade ever made in each gauge.
Yes there will be shotguns... guns made for kings, maharajas and generals. Coach guns from the wild west. It's like walking into a museum. The sheer number of high grade guns is amazing.

My first gun show! Missouri Valley Arms Collectors. Early fifties era as my dad took me to a church "Activity Room" located Gun Show! Recall perhaps a couple of dozen tables. A physician with a collection of Lugers = not for sale and a man perhaps as old as I am now @ 82, with a single handgun display only. A "Rast Gasser (?) as I recall with a hinged sideplate he happily displayed in function of exposing the handgun 'innards'! I was thrilled by everything. We bought nothing. The interest in guns mine as having a .22 Remington pump rifle hanging over my bed!
Surely a Felony now in California! Notably many of the tables were "displays" with the minority as sales oriented.
I flew out of what is now the now Downtown KC Executive Airport long before the building of KCI, on Lockheed Constellations to 'summer' with my elder divorced sister living in an LA area beach city. Happy Daze!
Apologies for a super-senior recollection 'moment'. Enjoy that Show!
