This sad news made me shudder - I was on the road yesterday, and before I left the house, for some reason I dug out my Eagles Greatest Hits CD and played it all afternoon. Hadn't played it in a few years.

Is It True and Try And Love Again are two totally underrated Meisner songs and vocals.
Bernie Leadon was way better than Henley and Frey ever gave credit for. So was Don Felder and they were both basically run off. Felder claims songwriting credit and Henley basically stole it.
Henley and Frey were complete ass wholes.
