Basically an improved BC Trophy Bonded Bear Claw with a polymer tip and boattail. If your rifle shoots the boat tails fine, on game performance should not be an issue.

thanks as well. Really interested in the ammo, but had held off from lack of field reviews from folks.

They're all over the place in magazine writers articles-especially the writers who like to brag about how much they paid for them. Got to have the latest and greatest so that you can shoot elk at 1000yds.

I used one last year in Texas on nyala. 180gr out of a 300 win mag. One and done. I'm sure they would work fine on any deer. But as has been mentioned, fed blue box, corelokts, or power points have always killed whitetails for me, and for less money. Ymmv.

Any reports with the 175 grain out of a .308? My rifle shoots them really well.

No usage with them in a 308, but if they shoot well, I can't see you finding a better hunting bullet. They just do alot of stuff really well. Wished I could get more to load myself.

I haven’t killed any game with them yet, but they are accurate in my .270 Winchester.

Great bullet. 2 elk and 4 deer with them. 80-440ish yards. Will keep shooting them as long as I can get them.

Over the past couple of months I've tried them in what has always been a very accurate .300 Win Mag and a sometimes-finicky .300 WSM. In both rifles the factory loaded Terminal Ascent has improved accuracy considerably over what I've seen with any other factory loads or reloads I've tried. Will be using these on upcoming elk and deer hunts... not so much for the long-range potential but simply for the improved accuracy.
