Watching the *news* this morning and apparently it’s going to be hot for about 6 more weeks. Sounds like the safest bet to ensure you don’t get your underwear wet is to sit in the AC and wait it out? Gosh, I’ve never seen anything like this before. {sarc}

Going to 90* here today,going to melt the pavement.
Not sure why July + August are the hottest months??

Yeah it’s that time of year. This year a little hotter than some but not as hot as some in the past. I get tired of Texas hot weather pretty quick. About 3rd week in Oct it cools down and Houston area has mild winter most of the time. It rains a lot in the winter and spring months but can’t complain about 7-8 months of mild not to cold, not to hot weather. I can sure complain about July august and Sept. LOL.

And the worst of it is that in a few months it’s gonna get cold. Can’t seem to catch a break with this damn weather, ..er climate schitt. Fuggin’ CO2!

The saddest part is everybody buys into it.

It's summer going to be hot some years more than others. If you're healthy spend time outdoors get used to the heat people a long time ago did just fine with no AC.

I just hope it burns the fuuuk outta my grass and slows it growing.

I hate fuuking mowing....

My grass is dormant. Haven't mowed in 3 weeks. Rented a golf cart at league last night for the first time ever due to heat (96* and 87% humidity when we teed off).

Gonna top out in the 80's today, which is awesome. Getting up to run before the heat sucks balls. 😁

Been normal summer temperatures for Texas during the last 80 years I've lived here but I didn't like it much when I worked outside.

Climate change as you age, the summer heat is hotter, the winter cold is colder.

I like heat. It helps baby animals turn into targets faster.

Tain't hot yet......August ain't quite here! Damn Yankees think 80F is hot!

Fairly well put. As I heard an old-timer at church say, "Well it's supposed to be hot. It's middle of summer, ain't it?"

Around here, our average daytime highs fall below 90 around September 15, and below 80 around October 15. Looking forward to it....

I remember that year the climate changed, somewhere's around 19 and 75 or so.
We went north of 100 for 2-3 days.
Haven't touched triple digits here since.

yea. i rememebr damn near every June, July, August as being hot as hell and dry. can't ever remember sitting in a hay wagon or hay mow that it didn't feel like at least like 130 degrees out.

Yep, it's been hot. And I've had newcomers tell me "it's never been this bad before". Well, maybe-- we have set a record for most consecutive days over 110 but we haven't hit the official record of 122. Yet.
