Drink a Guiness in Ireland and you will see a stark difference... I agree 100% on the USA version.

This is the gods honest truth! I never cared for Guinness but that’s because I never had a good pour. I went to the Guinness brewery in Dublin, or at least I think I did, and I went from a non-Guinness drinker to a Guinness lover and maybe even a bit of a Guinness snob for awhile. All over Ireland the Pubs pride themselves in a proper pour. The Guinness brewery however was a surprise for me since I already didn’t like Guinness to “loving” it.
It’s all about the pour and the right injection of nitrogen or whatever they do.

Well i love Guiness here so I guess I'll have to go to Ireland and try it. I've been to England 5 times on business but next time I'll visit Scotland and Ireland. By the way my favorite brown ale is Tommy Knocker Imperial Nut Brown Ale. It's absolutely delicious but 9% alcohol so be careful.

Drank guiness and smithwicks in the Shannon Ireland Airport, coming back from Iraq, heading back to ft. rich. Was purdy good.
I remember reading a book back in the late 90's, about beer brewing. The author claimed that imported guiness was pasteurized to meet our food codes. Altering both flavor and alcohol content.
Costco has these gems:

I had a great time drinking in the Pubs in Ireland, the people were welcoming and friendly and the impromptu music was fantastic. There are so many incredibly talented people that will only ever be heard by friends and family in the world and I met half of them in Ireland. 😉

If i was moose hunting in brown bear country I'd bring my 7 1/2 lb (with scope unloaded) Rem XCR II in 375 Weatherby. 300g A-Frames at 2800 fps. If I was going on a dedicated brown bear hunt looking for a 10 footer, I think i'd bring my 500 Jeffery. An honest to god 10 footer weighs a lot more than a 9 footer which is a huge bear.

Thoughts on what is adequate in bear country. Will a 7mm Rem Mag with 175 Partitions at 2900fps be sufficient in a situation with a brown bear. I also thought of moving up to a 300 Weatherby with 200 Accubonds @3075fps, seems like a bigger step up than a 300 Win Mag. I'm sure in a real situation, not much would feel adequate in the moment. Just trying to be prepared for worst case. Any advice is appreciated.
... don't think there's a bear alive that a properly placed 300 Win Mag pushing 220 grain Nosler Partition bullet wouldn't drop ... on the other hand if you're carrying a 700 Nitro and botch the shot you might wind up in a pile of bear crap ... the 300 Win Mag ammo & components are a lot easier to come by than for the 300 Weatherby Mag and I could pizz the difference in power
I'm sure your 7mm Mag with 175 Partitions or A-Frames would be just fine. I do want to say that when you see a 9 footer at under 15 yards your rifle can seem a lot smaller.

i would worry more about what brand rifle i was using if there was freezing cold wet weather with snow , in these conditions i want my 338 Win.mag. Winchester model 70 with the claw and 3 position safety , some other brands can freeze up and that won`t ever happen to me again . i still feel lucky to be alive with momma grizzly and her 2- 2 year old cubs were 60 feet away from the mule and me , my eyes were on momma grizzly and her eyes were on me then she finally turned and ran the opposite direction , we were hunting the area where a bowhunter got mauled by a grizzly 3 weeks earlier and that bear was never found. on our hunt we had 8 inches of snow on ground ,10 degrees , snowing and sleeting rain went up with mules about 7 or 8 miles up on the mountain above our tent camp was nasty weather.there was 3 of us all using 338 Win .mags. all 3 rifles were same brand and all 3 rifles were froze up that day when momma grizzly bear came out and mule and myself was her closes dinner meal. so when you buy or use a rifle in bear country the brand rifle just might be even more important than the cartridge ?

Pete, the only thing you failed to mention about the positives of the Mosel 70 is, if in stainless steel…..every metal component (springs, pins, screws, ect) is stainless steel! Few, if any, manufacturers can claim that about their stainless rifles! Perhaps only a small detail, but for me……a very important detail! 😉 memtb

You actually possess, and have shot more than once, a 7.5 lb .375 Wby? Jut making sure I'm getting this right.

You guys are kill’n me! When I built my 375 AI, I wanted it as weather resistant as possible.I went with a SS Douglas barrel, and Teflon coated the entire package… about 3 years later Winchester brings out their SS rifles! 🤬☹️ memtb
