What's your favorite Ginger beer?

Going to try a Kentucky Mule. Gotta pick up some Kentucky Bourbon to go with whatever Ginger beer I get.

I've tried a Moscow Mule W/Vodka. Didn't care for it.

Don't remember which Ginger beer I used, but it was to sweet.

Thanks!

I love all the ones I’ve tried; Goya, Reeds, and Fever Tree.

They’re particularly good with a full flavored cigar like a Partagas black label, Padron, or Hoyo maduro… but then again, what isn’t?

Fever Tree. I don't drink a lot of ginger beer, but do enjoy a Dark N' Stormy.

Ginger beer
2 oz Gosling's Black Seal rum
1/2 oz lime juice.
Pour ginger beer over ice in tall glass, add lime juice.
Float the rum on top to make an ominous-looking storm scene.

Stir with straw to drink.

Best ginger beer I’ve ever had was actual beer with a heavy dose of ginger, down in the Caribbean somewhere, I think St. Maartin.

That same ginger beer with 1/2 oz of lime juice is the basis for a Moscow Mule (with vodka), or a Mamie Taylor (with scotch).

Lots of folks like a Highball of ginger ale and bourbon, and it steps up a notch with ginger beer.

We all know that the best beer is brewed in Germany.
According to the German Beer Purity Law, the Reinheitsgebot, enacted in Bavaria in 1516, there may be only four ingredients. Hops, barley, water and yeast.

If you have the temerity to add ginger, you will be put on the train and taken to the camp!

Generally speaking (in the USA anyway) ginger beer is non-alcohol and used as a mixer in many drinks.

I just returned from Southern Europe taking a cruise. I witnessed people asking for ginger beer at the ship’s bars and they were getting ginger ale instead. Of course I asked for a White Russian and the bartender made it with skim milk, yuck!

Bundaberg by a mile.
Made in Queensland in Bundaberg of course.
Their Over proof Rum (Bundy Rum in traditional slang) is a real headkicker and very popular up there as well, not so much in the lower states where scotch and more recently bourbon is popular apart from beer of course, which is the best on earth.

If Tooheys draft was sold in the US I would never drink water again. Won best Pilsner in International category 2 consecutive years but we already knew it was the best.

I've liked the Reeds stuff in the past, a couple of local ones over on the coast I can no longer remember the name of.

I'm going to keep my eye out for the Bundaberg now, thanks to you folks. Maybe even the fevertree.

I like Fever Tree not only for the taste, but because it comes in smaller bottles just perfect for mixing a tall drink with no waste.
