Bundaberg by a mile. Made in Queensland in Bundaberg of course. Their Over proof Rum (Bundy Rum in traditional slang) is a real headkicker and very popular up there as well, not so much in the lower states where scotch and more recently bourbon is popular apart from beer of course, which is the best on earth.
If Tooheys draft was sold in the US I would never drink water again. Won best Pilsner in International category 2 consecutive years but we already knew it was the best. When I lived there, Queensland suburb, I found Bundaberg and enjoyed it straight up along with their root beer. In a cocktail I found it sweet and lacking the ginger "bite". I do not recall seeing other brands of ginger beer there?

Regional brand in the South, Blenheims, is my favorite. Vernors is good and Canada Dry BOLD is another.

Goslings (diet) for me, with Appleton Estate rum. My standard drinky.
I buy the “standard grade” Appleton and the 12 year-old stuff. Regrettably, the good stuff really is better, even mixed.

Try making your own, not hard at all and you can have as strong a ginger bite as you want.
I've given up Moscow mules for gin and tonics with a couple lime wedges

That same ginger beer with 1/2 oz of lime juice is the basis for a Moscow Mule (with vodka), or a Mamie Taylor (with scotch).
Lots of folks like a Highball of ginger ale and bourbon, and it steps up a notch with ginger beer. Its spectacular. Hands down my favorite drink. Bundaberg, fever tree, brooklyncraft. All great. I'll be perfectly honest, schwepps works too, just makes it sweeter than spicey/zing. Different flavor of good. Scwepps or canada dry with evan williams when I am feeling frugal, or bundaberg / elijah craig when i am feeling more flush. Makes little matter. Its like guns, shooting, fishing, or womenfolk.

It was Cock & Bull that I tried first. Too sweet for me. Also bought limes. Tried some Cock & Bull with a lime wedge squeezed, and some Four Rose's
Much better with the lime. I mixed the ginger beer 50-50 with Four Rose's.
Nice "stout" drink, on the rocks.
Bought some Reeds yesterday to try with the Four Rose's.
LOTS of good ideas! Looks like I need to do more shopping, AND taste testing!
Thanks! Virgil B.

I tried the Reeds yesterday with lime and Four Roses. Better than the Cock & Bull. (for MY tastes!)
Still need to look for fever tree and some of the others mentioned.
This looks like it's going to be an "on going" search! (GRIN!)
Great way to spend the afternoon!

Four pages and no one’s mentioned one of the best out there: Goya . (Of course, it’s cheap and, unlike all the boutique brands, available in most grocery stores, so some of our beverage aficionados wouldn’t want to be seen with it in their coolers.)

Goslings (diet) for me, . Thats my wifes fav. I like it. Its perfectly serviceable. Hold the diet though. I agree in principle, but the one or two I drink almost daily would use up all my carbs, so I suffer the diet. Tried one with erythritol, but I can’t tolerate that for long, though a good case of the squirts is a sure-fire diet technique……😱
