Posting for a friend. Gun is immaculate.
He wants to sell. I have no idea about ruger no. 1s and
he's had it for years. What's it worth and is anyone interested?

I have 2 Ruger1 6mm’s. Both are <1/2moa rifles. One needed a hick accurizer to get it there the other needed free floating . Both are “B’s”.BOTH have Kipplinger triggers One shoots 95 Berger’s and the other 100 gr Partitions.both shoot stiff loads of RL22. Easy to get 3200 fps Mostly because of 26” barrels. GLWS. Somebody is going to enjoy it for life ! Mine are waiting for my grandkids to grow up!

Pics would help, its in the right cartridge as well.

He said he'd get me some pics tomorrow. It's a sporter. Don't think it's been fired 30 or 40 times.

Open to offers. All he can say is no. Looks slick to me. Plus it's 6mm. Don't necessarily see those everyday.

I have a NO.1 in 6mmRem
It is the most accurate of the 18 Ruger NO.1 rifles I have owned. My 6mmPPC comes close. The Kepplinger trigger on the 6mmrem may be the difference

Has the stock been varnished?

Not to my knowledge. I've personally never seen the gun or handled it. I'm trying to sell it for him. He just don't want to really deal with people so I told him the fire would sell it. So here I am the middle man. He's a good friend of mine, and he's just selling some guns that he has literally never shot.
