Needing a new home a stainless classic model 70 chambered in 270 win. Rifle has a mirror bore, the trigger just a hair over 3 pounds and has a 5 digit SN. A few light marks in the satin finish the barrel is 22” These stainless classics are very nice rifles getting harder to find. Would like $960 shipped to your FFL. I have one of these with a 6-digit SN. It has been fantastic rifle both accuracy and reliability wise. It is also very resistant to rusting, which is important in the very humid environment in which I hunt. Like the OP stated, these are getting harder to find, especially the 22" version. Good luck on your sale.

With the increasing popularity of suppressors I'm surprised the BOSS rifles haven't become extremely popular. I'd think you could still use the tuning-nut to tune accuracy w/a suppressor just like with the BOSS/CR.

I wish I had the coin, I would buy it. My favorite rifle is a Winchester Model 70 Classic Stainless in .30-06, it also has a five digit SN G81xxx. It came with a nice walnut stock and no BOSS. This .270 would go nicely with it in my collection!
