Yes, they has 2 available....$260 or $358 lol And it's a little battery bigger than a quad size but not much. My son told me that R-22 IS $400 LB, or $2400 a jug.....I have 2 new 30 lb jugs in the garage.

The AGM that I put in my F150 in May was $250 from AutoZone. A standard battery would have been $200 but I decided to try the AGM. My last 2 batteries died early. Since the old battery died prematurely they prorated me $50 off the new battery and the store manager gave me an additional 10% off because we are good friends. I got it out the door for about $180.

I have several cars that spec AGM... $260 seems absurd.

had to replace the battery in the wife's BMW. It was a lot more than that. Same here and they had to "program" the new battery to the car. Over complication in my opinion.

Who thinks profit inflation ain't added in per the ongoing C19 supply chain pretext so easily used on customers.
Yep material cost have gone up. We all know that...
Generic example...
X used to cost 25 bucks material wise and made say 20% profit. Overhead cost all covered.
Now x cost 37.50 material wise and can now make 28% profit
Still making all overhead cost of course. That ratio of cost to overhead versus profit will never go down. Profit gets even better when material cost goes down and manufacturers control availability for a " shortage market"
But with the ongoing blessing of "C19" supply chain issues being used on customers. Profit inflation is easily passed off in that....
Beleive what you will about profit inflation....
We used to just call it price gouging... And had options not to do business with scumballs.
Now it is a take what we are gonna make market pretty much across the board in everything... What cost them the least to make at the largest profit possible.
Customers buying power and selection options is not a concern to many companies now. You either buy it from us or the other guy at similar price. He might or might not have it..
C19 supply bullschit gives em a carte blanche alibi now they can exploit...
The bullschit charges auto dealers attach to vehicles now as supply chain/ order cost out of " their hands" are a prime example, and base model vehicle scarcity also when they can put out top of the line models at premium pricing only....... And then add in controlled market availability in the auto industry now to create artificial shortage for premium pricing in buyers noggins...
These are mini monopolies being exploited per C19 bullschitt across all spectrums to the consumer....
I'm far from anti capitalism.
All about it... Best system on the planet.
But Companies are really taking advantage of alot of schit and really fuuuuking over the consumer any way they can exploit now.
Add in all the Honk for Joey bullschit..
Orange man baaaaaad.... No more mean tweets....

yeah the last couple years battery prices have exploded. but there's also a drastic difference in place to place on the same battery sometimes it pays to shop around for these items.
