Any of you have any first hand knowledge of the electronic band that is supposedly effective for people who suffer from seasickness??
Thank you

Yes! I suffer from motion sickness terribly. I tried the bands and found them great for wiping the vomit off my chin when I got seasick as usual. The only thing I've found that works for me is oral scopolamine.

My wife ordered one but hasn’t tried it yet. I am skeptical.

as a former lake ontario charter boat capt. (1986-99) i have no knowledge of electronic band. i was very susceptible to motion sickness and found the best relief and prevention came from both the original Sea Bands and ginger root capsules. individually and on occasion combined. Sea Bands worked on a pressure point concept. my understanding was that ginger root was recommended for morning sickness also. my system wouldnt tolerate the motion sickness medications ie: asleep at the wheel! ginger root was found in the vitamin section at pharmacy. good luck

I am a Charter Captain out of Destin, FL and have been using an electronic band called "Relief Band" since they were invented. They work outstanding and is the only thing I have found I can put on someone who is already sick and they will feel better and be back to fishing in about ten minutes. This is not the cheap elastic bands with a plastic button on them to put on a pressure point. Relief Band

I use the patch scopolamine for my fishing trips. You can't beat it.
