Why? It clearly states designed for military and law enforecement applications, therefore, these are not designed with you in mind.

I was waiting on an ACRO to be in stock and then found out they can fog up. Figured something else might be along next year. This looks good except for the price but who knows what the street price will be once they become readily available…

Holosun has been kicking Trijicon in the tail for a while in the micro red dot arena. It’s good to see Trijicon step it up.

What fogging issues have you heard about?

Pre-order with PA for $645, that’s better than I thought.
Fogging issues, A couple of guys on YouTube from Florida had one fog up and others have mentioned that the sacrificial lenses have fogged in humid areas because there is no nitrogen Between the lenses. Saw where one guy broke the front lense out trying to fit a holster. Not real confidence inspiring but no one can keep them in stock so who knows? I’ve yet to even see an ACRO.
Brief mention here

Look forward to checking one out. Hope the price comes down at least a little bit.

Got an RCR on backorder with Euro optics. I'm not saying this one is gonna be the one but it checks a lot of boxes. Bigger window than the ACRO, no new plate to buy, I trust Trijicon products (Aimpoint too) and it is about the same footprint as the RMR, no new forward looking sensor to go out. Just use in manual mode and the flat window keeps dirt and crap from being trapped. Plus it is waterproof. The RMR HD sets further forward and might not work with all my holsters as my Holosun 507 front lense sits on my belt when in my IWB holster. A few weeks ago it rained during a match so I had to pull my shirt out over the holstered gun to keep my dot from going crazy. Made me rethink an enclosed emitter again. But for a pure gaming dot, the HD has a bigger window and would be great for that.

The RCR looks a lot like a copy of the EPS. Specs are very similar (other than price and country of origin).

When I saw the deflave's post I immediately thought about pairing the RCR with an Echelon. Thanks for posting the vid.

Figure the operation features are the same between the Type 2 RMR and the new RCR; defaults to auto brightness after period of non-use? Would that really bother anyone? (I have just purchased my first RMR, just curious what the experienced users think?)

Thanks for the info. Can lockout to preserve user set brightness level?
