I’ll admit to sorta liking his personality, but not his Presidency.
I believe him to be a honest, but somewhat benighted man.
I think he tried to do right, as he saw it. His vision wasn’t too great, but compared to Klinton, Zero, and Bribem, he comes out looking like a gem!

From what I have read he was at least somewhat hypocritical. A kind of “Everyman”, he walked the whole inauguration parade route.
But secret service noted the suitcases he carried on AF1 were really empty — optics you know — and he wasn’t very congenial in person and in private.
Perhaps a complicated personality as he was very involved with Habitat for Humanity post presidency.
