Hey guys!

I’m having a 240 Weatherby built. I’ve settled on 90 grain bullets. Being a reloader over multiple calibers I try to use data with the same powder used for multiple calibers. That being said RL22 and IMR 3031 cover most of my rifle needs. I’m honestly surprised there isn’t any RL22 data available for this round.

If anybody knows of any I’m all ears. Bullets used are 90 grain Hornady ELDX and 87 Grain VMAX.

Thanks in advance!

Matt

Appreciate it, that’s 95/100 grain data, I need 90 grain data. Don’t want to experiment without proven data

Abort the 240 Wby notion,go 6-06 1-8",give throating a thunk, reap great brass instead and forget the schit bullets. Hint..................

You might just have to make a choice of a little "experimentation" or change bullet weights or change powders. All the data I have seen for RL22 in the 240 wby is for 95/100.

What risk do you see using 95/100 data with a 90 grain bullet?

Internet analysis: 1 in a row is a trend, 2 in a row is statistically significant, and 3 in a row is an irrefutable fact

Not a huge risk, you make a good point. Need to choose between the experiment or proven data with a new powder

'22 will squirt a .620 BC at 3250fps,with amazingly modest ES/SD in Lapua brass,chambered 6-06. Hint................

I'd wager that Skookum brass,a positive headspaced false shoulder and schit canning the belt, don't do anything but sweeten the pot. Bullets matter more than a "smidge" too,but you gals keep on fhuqking guessing aloud. Hint.

Or you can get a 240 Bee from WBY with a 1:7.5 twist Like I did.

I'll greedily take a real rifle in 7" RPM 243 Kreed, with a real scope, real brass and simply feed it .620 BC's at 3000fps+,with 10+ grains less powder. Hint.

Pardon my simply shooting it all and then some. Hint.

No data is proven until fired in your rifle. But it looks like 1.5- 2 grains difference in between 90 and 95.

Confirming DOPE in this morning's rather nice conditions at 1600yds,which nears this 20" Seex Kreed's Transonic Slip with 112's. Hint.

[Linked Image from imagizer.imageshack.com]

The 240Wby is easily amongst THE fhuqking schittiest .243" bore chamberings going. Hint.

Just sayin'.

Hint.

Thank me later.

Why post about a caliber, bullet weight, and powder that has nothing to do with my original question?

Yep, you have confirmed that you are a DOPE using that rest for 1600 yds.

peelament,

Why would I point out to a CLUELESS Drooling Fhuqktard, that their Goat Fhuqk is a muchly compromised piece of fhuqking schit? Because I'm a generous concerned citizen and simply fhuqking shoot it all and then some. Hint.

Pardon my pointing out simplistic FACTS,that fly over your quivering lips, crossed eyes and pointy head. You'd do well to holster your VERY Tender Feelers, take notes from atop The Silver Platter and simply fhuqking apply same. Hint.

Do continue with what you "think" you "know" and I'll be rather at ease in rubbing your nose even further,in your own fhuqking Stupidity. What receiver? Stock? Barrel particulars(throat/RPM/neck clearance)? Scope/base/rings? Who's building it? Whos reamer? Application? HINT.

Fhuqking LAUGHING!...................

Sniffle Kchunt,

Keep nipping heels and "living" vicariously, you "lucky" kchunt. Hint. Congratulations?!?

Oooooopsie! Too late. Fortunately for you,Imagination and Pretend are free,so even YOU can "afford" to "contribute". Hint.

Bless your poor poor(literally) heart, for trying though.

Hint.

'19 does ZERO "favors" in any chambering, for any application. It temp swings wildly,as do Lot to Lot variations. Hint.

I'd use H4831sc with 90 grain projectiles - temp. stable and accurate. H4350 also works well with them.
