It's a gun issue, whether some of these guys want to believe it or not.
WOW no wonder you are known as the ChUNTer, you Can't Understand Normal Thinking !!!!
Let me try one more time to explain it to you.....
Remington formally introduced the 22-250 in 1965, they and several others produced brass for decades, all of it is smaller than SAAMI spec. for example I just opened up a brand new bag of Winchester blue bag 22-250 brass
Base measures .462" the web measures .460" and the extractor groove is .408".......most other brands are close to this but all my Norma and Federal have been fired so it would not be a fair comparison
Lapua entered the 22-250 game in 2010, they only made it for 12 years as it was discontinued (not suspended as other cartridges were last year).
I just opened up a new blue box of Lapua brass....Base measures .4697"(SAAMI max), web measures .467"and the extractor groove is .415"(over SAAMI spec).
Not a problem with sloppy chambers, but if you had a custom reamer made prior to 2010 or have a tight chamber Lapua brass causes issues, .007" is a LOT bigger and perhaps Mathman can explain it to you..........a Lapua and chamber issue not a fhuqking gun issue
Guessing Lil'Dicks gunsmith Shewang had her reamers made after 2010
