Mine was better than most. I worked 6a-6p and am off until Tuesday now.

The best part was coming home and throwing some shish kabobs that had been marinating all day on the grill.

Better yet I had a barreled action from Pac-Nor waiting for me to pick up at UPS on my way home. I sent PacNor a CZ 550 Magnum Safari action about six weeks ago. PacNor fitted a 404 Jeffery chambered barrel on.

The bottom metal will need a bit of inleting. The stock was bought used from a guy in Australia of all places that frequents another gun/hunting site. The action came from Wayne at AHR and has his three position safety and upgraded trigger.

I’ll ship the rifle out Monday to another smith to do the sights, barrel band, bolt handle bend/knob fill and then rust blue it. [Linked Image from i.postimg.cc][Linked Image from i.postimg.cc][Linked Image from i.postimg.cc]

Thanks guys.

I’m looking forward to seeing the end product. It’s a #5 barrel profile. I thought that might be a little bit muzzle heavy but isn’t at all. I love how it handles. I’m interested to see what the recoil is like😳 it’s a lot more gun than anything that I’ve shot previously.

Interestingly enough, or not, I have my Win M70 416 Rem in Karl Feldkamp's shop (25 miles away) having the barrel fluted to help the muzzle heavy rifle after I swapped the factory stock for a McMillan that weighs 8 oz less.
