Picked up a Buck Strider Tarani. Pretty cool knife.

There are transformers underwater in town so some people don't have electricity. Imagine not having a sump pump. I told my wife if the power goes out, pack a bag and we will go out of town for a couple days and deal with it when we get back. We aren't going to sit there and watch things get worse and worse. It's raining again now but not a white squall like earlier.

What? It seems like we've gotten a fair bit this year in Johnson County.

Say, man, you in Lebo? I can't tell you how many times I've hit that Casey's right off 35, always on my way to Melvern. grin

And another thing, what happened to the Lebo diner? It sucks they closed down. frown

Yeah, its a window well where the drain couldn't keep up with the Noah level flood we had. Over 8" now, still raining and forecast more tonight and until tomorrow night. It's a slow rain now and the drains can keep up. Let's pray it stays like this.

Nice little hike in the drizzling rain to finish up some cooking merit badge requirements.

Nice. There’s a miniaturized version of that Pocket Rocket available called a BSR; you can find them for under $30. I’ve used one, jeez, over 100 days of backpacking and the wife has more than doubled that on the thing so durability is not an issue, with the exception that you could possibly overheat one if you tried to boil a BIG pot of water or something. Anyway just something to be aware of. Ounces make pounds. smile

Ended up getting carpet out of one bedroom. Tons of neighbors have it way worse so we are counting our blessings
