I replaced the original halogen bulbs in some ceiling fixtures with GU10 base dimmable 500 lumen LED bulbs. 6 fixtures, 5 bulbs each, and the ceiling is quite high - tall ladder work.
The brand we purchased online was DEWENWILS (Yeah, Chinese) advertised as having a "projected" life of 9.3 years. NOT !! They started dying regularly within a year and I need to do a wholesale replacement - next weekend.
If you know a brand of such GU 10 base LEDs in the 500 lumen (dimmable) range that has proven to yield long life, I would appreciate knowing about it. Thanks.

I always had good life out of Sylvania in that style, but you aren’t going to get em for 1.80 per.

I always had good life out of Sylvania in that style, but you aren’t going to get em for 1.80 per. Good start - thanks. Price is not the driver.
