Is it mentioned in the Bible?

There are websites where you can type in a word or term and search the Bible for the word.

Just tried it with "alchemy". No mention of it in the four different versions that I checked.

Never heard of it.

And now you know why.

It's the idea of turning less valuable metals into gold.

Technically, alchemy is trying to turn base metals into gold. However, the basic goal has been turned into weird religions that get way away from making gold. They get into very anti-Biblical beliefs. While it's not mentioned by name in the Bible, it comes under the numerous false god references.

Could takin a simple prophet's earthly life, resurrectin it and turnin it inta eternal life, be considered alchemy?

Alchemist can turn lead or other non precious metals into gold or silver, their work has been recorded over centuries by reliable sources but it is considered work of demons through man. These alchemists are devil worshipers who receive the ability to perform signs and wonders from demons. In the Bible two Egyptian magicians Jannes and Jambres who opposed Moses in the book of Exodus were able to duplicate some of the plagues performed by Moses such as turning their staffs into serpents but afterword had to confess that their power was unable to compete with the power of God. After Moses turned dust into lice the magicians could not duplicate it and they said to Pahraoh "this is the finger of God". That means their magical tricks were work of their demon gods and demons even though more knowledgeable and powerful than man cannot compete with one true God.

Alchemy is a broader topic, at its base is a concept called the "philosophers stone" or the concept of turning something into something else from its original form. Turning base metals into gold was one form, and was the basis for the beginning of Chemistry and the discovery of the Periodic Table of the elements. Handed down stories of its use are in every culture and carried from generation to generation by Shaman in cultures that didn't use written forms. It forms the basis of many of todays stories, Fountain of Youth, the Holy Grail, Moon Landings etc.
