Just totally disassembled mine cleaned it thoroughly and reassembled. I never looked at the alignment of the slots on the piston rings. I assume that they should be offset? Please advise. Thanks, QM

Just googled and found splits should be at 180 degrees

Just put them on, 180 is nice but not required. Does not need to be that hard. Just put them on and it will run
