Nope. Bought a case of the 9-pellet a while back. Haven’t seen the 12-pellet in a minute.

Haven’t seen them in a few years and that is my primary load for deer in front of hounds in the South. My stash is running low.

I do see the 2 3/4” 8 pellet and 9 pellet around…

The 9-pellet is a lot easier to shoot, I can tell you that.

Indeed. They also make a low recoil “law enforcement” load in 8 pellet and 9 pellet versions. That 8 pellet holds a very tight group and doesn’t have the typical 1 pellet flyer that a lot of 9 pellet loads have.


That 8 pellet load will consistently put all 8 in a 6” or less circle at 20 yards out of a smooth bore barrel. I have a box full of buckshot chokes and none will do quite that well.
