Putting a 7 PRC together and I'm stuck on the mag box. Action is Defiance long action, standard Rem BDL bottom metal. Looking at Wyatt's descriptions from the following:

Details on the options I "think" are where I should be looking...others are listed in the link above:

MBE–2– Internal Dimension 3.8”. This box will work with all standard 30–06 based cartridges, as well as the 280 Rem and 280 Ackley Improved. The 7 Rem Mag and 300 Win Mag all the way up to 7STW.

300 PRC– Internal Dimension 3.8”. As the name implies this box is set up to work predominantly with the 300 PRC cartridge introduced by Hornady. It is capable of feeding the Nosler cartridges, but we do not recommend this for the RUM’s.

Is the 300 PRC the route to go? Input is welcome as I'm not a "mag" guy and just don't have experience there.

I used the Wyatt's MBE-2 kit with a Defiance GA Hunter and, so far, feeding has been 100%.

On my 25prc(6.5prc) long action I used a Wyatt’s cfe 13 which is a 3.710” box. Fed perfectly fine.

Thinking part of the 7PRC design was to be happy in the 7 mag box length with the current very long bullets. If one intended on aftermarket boxes they could use a 2.5 plus length case, & not the 2.3 of the PRC.

Please excuse if I've missed the objective. Been studying the setup, but maybe not up to snuff yet.
