The eastern 2/3 of the state is all ranching and grazing. It would lay waste many thousands of square miles of land. It doesn't mention the Indians fishing and farming. That could get interesting. So Indians aren’t tribal communities? IP 3 disregards Oregon’s culture and heritage altogether, including a complete ban on hunting and fishing for tribal communities.

If the farmers and ranchers want to preserve their livelihoods, they’ll get on the stick and organize a firm opposition to this nonsense. In Yurrup, there’s a big push to destroy the farming industry over Green “concerns”, not animal “cruelty”, but the goal is the same.

If it did pass, it would be tied up in federal courts by the Indians for years. A state can't vote away their federal treaty rights.
