Some years ago somebody on this board heartily recommended croc sandals so I bought a pair. I suffer from some foot issues so I'm always on the lookout for soft-soled sturdy shoes. I've about worn out my croc sandals and looking online but they're gone.
Help a brother out, what's a good sandal?
I look like a dork but IDGAF, this is slumlord bait.

You don't like regular Crocs? I wear them so much, I got croc hole tan lines on my feet. There are several styles of Crocs, some are better at support than others. Good luck

Birkenstock for me. Cured my long-time plantar fasciitis issue and I mean right now.

Look up Merrell Encore shoes.
You won't miss Crocs after you wear them.

I like Crocks for around the house or camp. Not something I'd wear out to town and I wear them with socks in cool weather. They are in just about every sporting goods store where I live. Easy to find.

I've told my wife and kids to have me cremated when I have assumed room temperature. However, should my wife/kids not accede to my request and decide to plant me instead and put a marker over me I want it to read "He Died With His Crocs On" ya! GWB

I'm wearing a pair of these right now: https://www.crocs.com/p/realtree-ed...1.html?cgid=sandals&cid=267#start=20Even 'flave approves: With all the recent EV discussion, I thought I'd share my wife's new ride. About as far from the whole EV idealogy as possible She wanted an SUV and liked the GMC Acadia. I said no and bought her this instead. Durango SRT - 475 hp and averaged 20 mpg on the drive home from Idaho. I'm gonna have fun if she ever lets me drive it

No Crocs for me. I have an old pair of Topsider deck shoes that I can wear with or without socks depending on the weather. They’re really good for those middle of the night trips outside when camping with a little snow on the ground in Colorado’s mountains.

I wear crocs all the time. When I’m going fishing, when I’m camping, after a day of hunting, around the yard after work, whatever. IDGAF what anyone thinks about them. If schits comfortable, that’s what matters to me. I’ll always have a pair or two around.

Interesting, Thanks John. But they still aren't made in the US of A! PS, I'd probably wear them but a pair I tried on didn't seem right for me.

They aren't a fashion statement, but Crocs clogs sure are a comfortable option for slummocking around in. In fact I'm wearing a pair now, and I've worn a pair completely out, to the stage the sole had holes worn through.
They have some disadvantages though. I don't wear them fishing, for example, as they don't seem to have much grip when wet. You also can't run in them, and they aren't great on uneven ground, or when you want to walk backwards (such as hoeing the garden). I have other footwear for those.
If you want a sandal as opposed to Crocs clogs, I think Crocs stopped making the "Swiftwater" sandals. They were quite good. I have gone through a couple of pairs of Teva sandals - not the cheap ones but the ones with soles that are shaped to the contours of your foot. They are good gear, and very comfortable.
