Cleaning out the leftover veggies from the crisper. So did some pseudo-greekish bowls. Roasted bell peppers, cherry tomatoes, Greek chicken, mushrooms, artichokes, asparagus, red onion, kalamata olives, pesto, orecchiette (yeah, I know, GFY), feta.

Classic Kalitoe Sammich.

Just missing the sprouts, I prefer baby spinotch myself.

When I can't get to Boudin San Luis is the top retail Sourdough go to. None better.

Darn right Fats.....Boudin and San Luis are two of the best breads around. And at the Costco price, it's always in the cart.

Acme is probably my favorite but it's harder to come by.

Any time I've tried sourdough elsewhere in the states it's a big letdown.

One of the best gifts I ever got was a monthly shipment from boudin for a year. "Bread of the month", I guess? What a treat.

Oh dang pulling out the Artisan Breads Card.

Yes Acme is the Bombdiggity.

One thing I love about the Demonrat Cesspool of the Greater NorKal Bay Area is the overwhelming number of world class Bakeries, Eateries and Meat Shops.

Other than family, the only thing I miss about the Bay Area is the food (especially Vietnamese and Korean), but the bakeries really are something else too, and you made me remember my old favorite. When I lived in Oakland, Arizmendi and the Cheese Board were my weakness. Anything from Market Hall in Rockridge too.

I'm with you on that ..

Bay area has some really incredible diversity...and it shines in the food. I love the option to go from Vietnamese one day to Ethiopian to Sushi to Thai.....Mexican... ..and on...and on...and on

Right across the Highway/Street from the Waterloo BBQ Club if you've ever been there.

This recipe makes enough dough, for about 16 twelve inch pizzas !

[Linked Image from i.imgur.com]

Deb has managed to proportionally reduce, to make enough for 4 pizzas.

This was the full mother load, first time we made it !

I have already saved some great recipes from this thread.

Man, there are SO many great food photographs on this thread, that I've started to think about replacing my current plates just so I won't be too embarrassed to post something.

I never gave my brown plates a thought before, but after reading this thread, I now realize how ugly they are!
