The only thing I see is it works like a Hornady but you have to buy one for each caliber.

The only thing I see is it works like a Hornady but you have to buy one for each caliber. Not each caliber, just each class - -308 based cases -30-06 based cases -etc. I bought one of each of the above. Figured they'd be an improvement over the ratchet sockets I'm using now. Haven't yet used them though. Rex

Hornady makes something like this?

I have 7 of them I believe. They work great! You need to buy them by the base diameter and the case length.
I cut one down for one of my calibers---don't remember which case. Some mandrels I put a nut (nut and bolt nut) in the bottom of the mandrel to make the case protrude further out of the case.
I use a propane torch and douse in a small pail of water with the lights out in my basement to see the case neck redden better. I use a cordless drill.

P.S. I use the one for an 8x57mm case the most with the nut for .22-250, .243, 6.5 CM etc.

I didnt know about the Hornady version. In any case I bought a couple and will give them a try. It looks better than what i do now.

There’s a reason for that. It gave intermittent results as will these since it has to connect to a drill. Basically it doesn’t work to well. For most of my needs I went to DNA candle method.

Don't know if they will do it for you (I am very nice and good looking) but I called them up and they made one for me and shipping was fast. Don't remember for what caliber though. Very Helpful and nice to deal with!!! Hip
