Were the early LH Ruger’s PF with a blade ejector?

All of the tang safety 77's were pushfeed. When they went to the MK-II they made a handful that were PF but quickly modified the bolt to pick up the cartridge rim from the magazine. Those are quite rare and I've never seen one in person. I've seen a couple of photos of them.
Most people don't really want the truth.
They just want constant reassurance that what they believe is the truth.

Looks to be a push feed. No way a cartridge head could slide up into the bolt from the bottom. Extractor will engage the rim by snapping over it when chambered

Around 90 to 92 the first non tang sight model 77,s were advertised as control feed they had a lip on the bottom of the bolt that prevented that, had 2 LH model 77 MK 2 that had the lip, removed both of the lips. Ruger would convert them for free for a while then they wanted around $150 to do so, thought it was BS as they were advertised as control feed.

I've got an early lefty push feed in 30-06 MKII. Recently contacted Ruger about removing the lip on bottom to make it control feed but they said they won't do it.

I too have an early pf mk2 lefty, it’s a great shooter, my go to rifle. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another pf mk2.
Would a mk 2 push feed bring a premium because they’re weren’t many made or would it be a detriment?

I have a MK II lefty which is push feed, the bolt looks just like that picture. I've read that tab can be removed to convert them to CRF.

Its easy to remove the bottom lip why not have a controlled feed rifle. Its just a lip away! Have 2 that I converted they feed better than most late model MK 2,s or Hawkeye 77,s. I used a later model and duplicated it.

I owned a LH PF Mark II years ago. Sent the bolt back to Ruger and they converted it to controlled round feed for me for free. So, yes, it’s an easy fix….I agree with KK Alaska, CRF is much better.
Ridiculous that Ruger will no longer convert it for you.😳🤷♂️
It’s unfortunate that Ruger has become a shell of the “once great company” it was.

Yes, Ruger has become more about pushing little plastic 380 auto pistols and their American rifle than anything else. I dearly enjoy their controll feed actions because they are the only one beside a lefty mauser that has been totally reliable for me. I'm the unfortunate one who's had new Remington extractors break, Tikkas go down hard and freeze solid, and single shot and pump action firing pins break. Rugers, mauser, and my crappy old M1917 don't have issues thus far.
