On this day 31 years ago our government shot a 14 year old in the back after shooting his dog. Then they killed his parents.
Men did that. FBI agents. ATF agents. The term "our government" is too broad.
The government of the United States interned US citizens of Japanese descent with no trial and no good reason.
It was a broad based program that "our government" undertook.
Not so with Ruby Ridge. Ruby Ridge ended very badly, with lots of stupidity, mistakes, and lots of things that were just plain wrong.

700 LH, Randy Weaver did serve in the U.S. Army. He was an Army cook in a Special Forces unit. I think that was at Fort Bragg. He was not qualified as a Special Forces member.

Ha. Today’s my wife’s birthday. If she only knew how I remember the date 8/21 I’d probably burn through all the points I’ve gotten remembering her birthday all these years.
Boys, just let it go, our main man Bill Barr was in charge of the aftermath investigation and "found no government agency wrongdoing"..so that should put the matter to rest. Bill Barr became attorney general and Louis Freeh got to be Director of the FBI. Nothing to see here.
