is about as far as one can see around here this evening...
The usual summer forest fire smoke has finally made it into town, cutting visibility drastically....
and all of this smoke is like smoking and inhaling the equivalence of 5 to 6 cartons of cigarettes per day
for EVERY man, woman and CHILD.
Liberal claim its all about the environment.. bu then they love this 'let it burn' crap when it comes to forest fires.

I'm maybe 5 miles up from the Selle Valley here in north Idaho and today down there it was bad. Up here, guessing 750 foot of elevation and it is better though the views are still vague but clearing. Off tomorrow AM to drop the "kids" in Spokane for the flight home. Fun bunch.

If peeps haven't done so already, load the app "My Radar" to your phone.
If has a fire location overlay to the map. Can click on any fire icon and view what details are available.
Also the "Weather Channel" app as an "air quality" overlay to it's map.
I'm guessing "Seafire" is in the Bend, OR area. It's been as bad as it can get there for several days.

Seafire is 250 miles to the SW of Bend, down in the Rogue Valley, just north of the California state line, just north on I 5.
60 to 70 miles inland as the crow flies, from the very SW Coast of Oregon...
Seafire, doesn't have and doesn't want a "Smart" Phone.. the phone for Dumbasses, who bury their nose in them, 24/7.
