Interesting ledger page. The first and largest Portuguese Contract shipment. The "Mil" notation to commercial vendors indicates it was a military contract configuration, the Model 1907-13-3 with lanyard ring. You'll note that almost every "Mil" is sold in early 1917 during or shortly after the final French and Portuguese shipments in Jan/Feb 1916 and no new orders were placed. Looks like the cessation of orders caught Savage with military surplus.

So, I just looked over the model 1917 .380 slide more closely...there is a stamped oval with 'SAP'...see pic...thanks for the information, Savage1907 and others.
