the northern part of Ukraine was all Russian, but they "tactically retreated" it. tactically retreated is what most people say is" i got my ass kicked and i ran."
Russian President Vladimir Putin’s August 24 remarks about Wagner financier Yevgeny Prigozhin’s death established the Kremlin-approved narrative on the issue, and Russian government officials, Kremlin affiliates, and the Russian information space continued to toe this line on August 25. Some prominent voices in the Russian information space notably deviated from Putin’s established narrative, however. Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko issued a statement on Prigozhin’s death on August 25 that likely aimed at balancing his relationship with the Kremlin with maintaining domestic control, but that also directly contradicted his previous statements concerning the deal he brokered between the Kremlin and Prigozhin. The Financial Times reported on the bleak future of the Wagner Group’s operations in Africa following Prigozhin’s death. Ukrainian forces continued counteroffensive operations near Robotyne in western Zaporizhia Oblast on August 25 as Russian milbloggers expressed concern over a lack of reinforcements and troop rotations in the area. Reports of a Russian unit suffering significant losses with inadequate support on an unspecified island in the Dnipro River delta sparked outrage against the Russian military command in some parts of the Russian information space. Ukrainian drones likely struck a Russian duty station in occupied Crimea on August 25. Russian forces conducted offensive operations along the Kupyansk-Svatove-Kreminna line, near Bakhmut, along the Avdiivka-Donetsk City line, and in western Donetsk Oblast on August 25 and advanced. Ukrainian forces conducted offensive operations in at least two sectors of the front on August 25 and advanced in western Zaporizhia Oblast. Russian authorities are likely setting conditions to falsify the results of the September 2023 regional elections in occupied Ukraine.
"Russia sucks." ---- Me, US Army (retired) 12B & 51B
Russian Admiral said, after the Moskva sank, "we have the world's worst navy but we aren't as bad as our army".
The satellite photos show that Russia has taken the land they’ve said was theirs from the beginning and are defending that territory, digging in, reinforcing it because that’s been the plan since the beginning. The feint on Kyiv didn’t work because the deep state needs war and wouldn’t allow a compromise or negotiation and because Russia ain’t close to being as good at war as we’ve become…..the pure annihilation the US Military can rain down on them is better than anything they could dream. They got a small taste in Syria.
The war is all but over….the end is a foregone conclusion and the deep state got richer and deeper while American citizens are WEAKER and more poor than in recent memory. Crimea is Russia, Donbass is Russia and every town that Ukraine backs up to and fires from is likely to become Russia….until the shooting and slaughter ceases Russia cares not one iota for life and will happily send endless men to the meat curtain to achieve its desire. Ukrainians are not one bit different in blood and attitude….let them do whatever they want to do on their Eastern European borders…just stop sending billions of OUR MONEY!

Wrong as usual, liberal.
Russia withdrew as a show of good faith because of a peace treaty that ceded the disputed areas (which did not involve northern cuckraine) to Russia.
The treaty was signed by the cuckrainian negotiator, and delivered ta Putin.
The Russians withdrew in reliance on the peace agreement, and then Pedo Joe told gaylensky there could be no negotiated peace.
Gaylensky followed his orders, and hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian soldiers are dead because of it.
The Ukrainian army has used 10+ brigades, some 20 to 35,000 men, to fail to take Robotyne. A town which, according to the 2001 census, had 480 inhabitants.
Sugar-coat it any way you want. The fact is, Russia is weak. They can't take a small country like Ukraine. Right now, at this point in time, they are totally defensive.
Put any spin on it that you want. It won't change anything. The satellite photos are the truth-tellers.
They never intended to take all of Ukraine.
Pull your tongue out of Biden's ass.
Well, aren't you an apologetic dumfuk A regular Secretary of State dumfuk
Hey sock troll, this is an already freely discussed and understood parameter of the war by the Russians. You obviously missed the primer, dumbass. The Russians want to solidify their gains in eastern and southern Ukraine, and the areas they still intend to control have become pretty clear. When you see Columns of Russian tanks heading for Kyiv and eastern Poland, please let us know.
Slaves get what they need. Free men get what they want.

Sure they did. That's why the initial invasion tried to take Kiev. How did that work out?
Tanks (626, of which destroyed: 401, damaged: 51, abandoned: 31, captured: 143) of which Leopard's are 6 destroyed and 10 damaged Armoured Fighting Vehicles (309, of which destroyed: 216, damaged: 5, abandoned: 8, captured: 80) Infantry Fighting Vehicles (702, of which destroyed: 492, damaged: 45, abandoned: 49, captured: 115) of which Braley's are 25 destroyed and 26 damaged Aircraft (69, of which destroyed: 68, captured: 1) Helicopters (32, of which destroyed: 27, damaged: 2, captured: 3)
go to oryx and you can see video or pictures of vehicles, aircraft, helicopters and much more.
i will say it again, Russia is losing equipment while Ukraine is bringing more equipment in (allies).
my best guesstimate on killed and wounded is up for debate. much like Colonel Douglas Macgregor (Tucker show) estimate of 400,000 Ukrainians are dead and wounded. what he says is his own opinion. what it is, you, i and Macgregor don't know. i think it is much smaller.
Jason Jay Smart, a political adviser on post-Soviet and international politics, told Newsweek that Macgregor was invited onto Carlson's show "because he is one of only a handful of the hundreds of thousands of former U.S. military officers who believes that Russia is anything other than losing terribly."
"Secondly, his arguments are the quintessential example of 'cherry-picking.' He actively seeks out data points that affirm his biases, rather than analyze the data as a whole, which shows that Russia is being destroyed," Smart said.
"Sadly, Macgregor is hungry for media attention and is willing to say whatever is necessary to have some relevance. However, he remains wholly irrelevant to world affairs, except when Carlson needs someone to console him."
Wikipedia is not a good place to get your information. the Colonel Douglas Macgregor believes he is best thing since sliced bread on the Battle of 73 Easting. he was not on the frontline, he was in the rear with the gear. Captain H.R. McMaster was leading the 2nd Squadron’s E Troop, 130 soldiers equipped with nine M1A1 Abrams tanks, 12 Bradley fighting vehicles and two 120mm mortars. MacGregor does not give credit to the enlisted guys or the Lieutenants and Captain that fought on 73 Easting.

I suppose you think the Georgians repelled Moscow under McCain's watchful eye?

I doubt that the foreign mercenaries had an accurate understanding of the lethality of first world heavy weaponry. Anyone left alive after witnessing a strike by thermobaric weapons will sign off at the first opportunity.
And who the fug is this Superfoo and his credentials to surmise a belly flop?? He’s living in the middle of liberalism is all thats’ known for certain!
Watched a video a while back made by an American soldier that volunteered in Ukraine and had a hard time getting out alive. Felt sorry for him making a colossal mistake like that. They truly are cannon fodder.

Isn’t liberalism the ultimate bellyflop? Wouldn’t a conservative stuck amongst the liberal bellyflop be well positioned to know a bellyflop when he sees it? 😉
