He purchased The Rock ranch here in Thomaston from Truett Cathy's aires and turned it into a camp for inner city kids. He drives around our podunk town in a Rolls Royce. When Chick -Fila owned it that had all sorts of great things for families . July 4th fire works, Halloween celebrations, and festivals all free. They had a on site farmers market and they housed several fosters families. One of my daughters best friends was a foster kid there. It was a shame to see it all go away after Truett died. The family sold the place to Harvey and now it sits nearly vacant. I guess they bus inner city kids in but I've never seen it. I think it's just a tax break for him.
A bowhunter at heart but a gun guy at soul. I'll take craftsmanship, wood and blue steel over plastic and composite any day.
