What is the twist rate on a Tikka T3 22-250? I see many for sale showing 1 in 8", but Tikka's website, plus a few of the major sellers, show a 1 in 14". Did they have a special run on fast-twist rifles?

Yes, 223 has various twists as well depending on the model and age

Did they have a special run on fast-twist rifles? Yes, they've done a couple limited runs in .22-250 with an 8 twist...still not a catalog item as far as I know.

The Tikka rifles had limited run rifles in both .223 and 22 250 with 1:8 twist barrels. I had one of each. I kept the 22 250, it is hell on deer and antelope with 62 Grain monos.

My stainless .223 is a 10 twist. 62 grain bullets shoot very well.

My t3x lite in .223, is 1-8 twist . I bought from eurooptic , about a year or so ago. It shoots 53gr vmax and heavies well.
