OP tater74 Campfire Regular Joined: Aug 2017 Posts: 1,127 Texas	Can anyone recommend a good one? We are spending more time on the back deck in the evening. The cow is where you are, the bull is where you want to be. No one gets something for nothing unless someone else got nothing for something.

If you have an iphone, Skyview Lite works well. It's also free. It's invaluable when with someone to point out stars, etc. I got this one on Amazon for $23 this spring. It's worked very well. I can put it on any star. Many of the cheaper ones are just for pointing out bugs on a wall or chasing a cat. This one has range. This one isn't called a laser pointer, though, so I had a hard time finding it.
