To keep him off the ballot in enough states to nullify him as a candidate? I dunno...............lots of time to get the date changed, force judge recusal, change of venue? Who knows, since this is uncharted legal waters even though all the charges seem bogus at face value, but as the article says, the trial is in DC & they will convict on whatever the prosecution says he did. They don't need a strategy, because nothing has changed. Not one damn thing will be any different this time than any other election since 2020. But folks will just bury their heads further in the sand and continue wringing their hands being shocked when it's the same outcome as the last.

The Democrats have nothing to do with Trump or any other candidate’s eligibility to be on the Republican Primary ballot
It is the Republicans that are demanding he be bared from being on the primary ballot by way of the 14th amendment

Yes, 🫅 has already helped Democrats during mid-term elections. He will be able to help Biden even more if he wins the Republican nomination. You can be 💯 % certain he will not go away on his own. Leadership of Republican Party will want to stop him from getting nomination because they want to win next presidential election.
