You guys don't knock Turkey! They are killing it with some shotguns right now. I have a Girsan that rocks! And although I haven't experienced it firsthand, I read they have some handguns that are worth looking into. Here is my take on it! Everyone has a computer. Companies selling these piece of [bleep] firearms are getting called out. They ALL know if they want to sell guns, they have to be good. They are all changing their machinery to make better weapons.

A 380 in my pocket is better than a 45 in my truck!

Violence may not be the best option... but it's still an option.

They do apparently make some really nice stuff there, but I dropped over a grand on a CZ shotgun that had to go to Kansas City because it would barely open. Should never have shipped like that. They fixed that, but they blew me off on the serious pattern convergence issue. A fair number show up for clays with Turkish autos, and they have more than their share of malfunctions. So it seems that like the Chinese, they can and do make good stuff, but the problem is sorting out the crap. What the service situation is like for other brands is an open question, and parts availability down the road is as well.

It's pretty easy to shoot under 1" groups when you don't count "flyers" like he did in the video.

223 Rem, my favorite cartridge - you can't argue with truckloads of dead PD's and gophers.

Yep. "Optimistic" group estimation is par for the course with that guy.

Pretty much this. That’s not the standard anymore.

OK for hunting I guess.

I traded a muzzleloader I wasn't going to use for a black plastic stocked Target model at the local gun shop.

Accuracy was decidedly mediocre and not repeatable so I pulled the plastic stock and reamed enough clearance to float the barrel, Duh!

It was a bit better but nothing to brag about.

I spun on a chunky stainless muzzlebrake for a weight on the barrel. Now it actually shoots CCI Standard Velocity well enough to keep the rifle for more testing.

A "Target Rifle" it is not.
