Now that Rigby doubles have been made again for a 1/4 of that price reminds me of how expensive a M71 348 Deluxe always was and then they made the reproductions in japan.

There is a fancy looking Rigby 470 in the Hartford Cabelas new for $25999.

Doesn't really look like it was made to shoot. I don't think it would be much fun with no recoil pad and that checkered wood butt looks out of place on it.

I was thinking the same but I think that a lot of those guns come with the butt 'unfinished'. That way, the buyer can put on the pad/plate they want and adjust it for LOP.
